About Florida Music Marianna

Maureen Hunt is the owner of Florida Music.  She is a cellist by profession and has played in the past with the Brevard Symphony Orchestra, the Charleston Symphony Orchestra and the London Symphony Orchestra.

Mrs. Hunt's  musical education included studying at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, Canada and Music Education at Stetson University in Deland, Florida.

Mrs. Hunt's teaching experience includes String Orchestra Director and Program Director at Trinity Christian School in Apopka, Florida and at IDEAL School in Palm Beach, Florida. 

Mrs. Hunt was the Owner/Founder of Music After School FL, Inc. which implemented violin, guitar and piano group lessons in 30 elementary schools around the state of Florida.

Frank Hunt is the brass instrument instructor for Florida Music.  He is a trumpet player by profession and has played in the past with the U. S. Air Force Band, the Charleston Symphony Orchestra and the London Symphony Orchestra. 

Mr. Hunt's musical education included studying Music Education at Stetson University in DeLand, Florida and Graduate studies in Trumpet Performance at University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida.

Mrs. Hunt was a Founding Board Member of the Florida Young Artists Orchestra in Orlando, Florida.  Mr. Hunt was also a Founding Board Member and Chairman of the Board for the Florida Young Artists Orchestra.
